Zync

Sharing time-based content such as video can be arduous. People share links of video content to each other by sending URLs which does little for conversational feedback. Often, when sharing video content, we seek to converse and share our reactions in real time with our friends and colleagues. When a video URL is sent during a conversation, the sender eventually asks "is it playing" or "let me know when you get past the part with the mountains." Thus, prior art systems suffer from an inability to synchronously share media, such as audio and video, among a community of users. In addition, prior art systems do not permit real-time control of such media by more than one member of the community.
